Food Addiction Support Group
An individual suffering from a food addiction disorder frequently experiences episodes of uncontrolled eating, or binging, during which they may feel frenzied or out of control. They will eat much more quickly than is normal, and continue to eat even past the point of being uncomfortably full. Binging in this way is generally followed by a period of intense guilt feelings...
but thanks again, we are not alone in this
You don't seem to state how you are doing today, is it easier today?
I think it is a tough road, and I understand about the drinking, I've been through what can at least be described as a dependance on alcohol.
I hope you're feeling stronger and moving forward to a brighter future, or looking for some support networks?
Best wishes and thank you for sharing

Stay strong!
Well, the same challenges that caused me to binge in the first place are still here. In fact its harder now cause I can't hide or "take a break" and have a binge. In fact I think its harder to deal with my challenges and issues than it was to face the guilt from the binge. And the GUILT PART SUCKS!!
Ah yes and my surgery left me with lots of scarring in the intestines/bowels. So as karma would have everyday is painful. In fact I have been on liquids for two days (I have to do this often) in severe pain trying to avoid another blockage. My point is nothing works right anymore.
Oh I do pray for everyone! Its so hard. Its even more difficult to do it alone. The best analagy I can give is when I tried to quit smoking after 23 years. I loved smoking and was only quitting for my health. Once I stopped (for only 9 days) I realized that there was no prize for quitting. In fact there's only punishment. For example, no stepping outside during work for a "break" and a smoke. No rewarding myself for getting all the laundry done. NOTHING> SO WHERE IS THE MOTIVATION TO QUIT??? Obviously we have to eat, but truth be told unless we starve the weight is not going to just FALL OFF> again no immediate prize.
LOL... I'm a mother of three, I work two jobs, live with my boyfriend and have way too much to do all the time. So to quit anything that brings me peace or "a break" is nearly impossible for me to do. I will continue to pray for everyone who is suffering with an addiction of any kind!!!
