Food Addiction Support Group
An individual suffering from a food addiction disorder frequently experiences episodes of uncontrolled eating, or binging, during which they may feel frenzied or out of control. They will eat much more quickly than is normal, and continue to eat even past the point of being uncomfortably full. Binging in this way is generally followed by a period of intense guilt feelings...

If I restrict, I think more about food, and then I binge, which then I feel awful.
Listening to our body makes a lot of sense. Eat when hungry, with normal portions, a variety of foods; then we won't feel deprived.....
can completely connect to what you're talking about. I have been to several eating disorder treatments and the intuitive eating is what they preach and the more I learn and the more effort i put in it actually works. What has probably been most helpful for me is giving myself full permission to eat anything! Anything. I am so used to outing restrictions on myself even if I let myself have a donut if I tell myself I can only have one and then I have to eat 'healthy' the rest of the day it in turn might have lead to a binge so full permission with no rules had been what works for me :) Do you have the book Intuitive Eating? It has been SO helpful to me seriously..I am happy to hear that you are doing well with it I am also getting to a place where I can feel my hunger and fullness signals and its such a great feeling..keep me updated on how you are doing :) thanks take care
