Food Addiction Support Group
An individual suffering from a food addiction disorder frequently experiences episodes of uncontrolled eating, or binging, during which they may feel frenzied or out of control. They will eat much more quickly than is normal, and continue to eat even past the point of being uncomfortably full. Binging in this way is generally followed by a period of intense guilt feelings...

one tip I found useful that I read was a pause button. If I want something I pause and ask myself why I want it. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt.
If saying no is working for you then keep at it, you are doing well

When you want to eat, HALT -- stop -- and ask yourself: am I H.ungry A.ngry L.onely or T.ired? Only eat when you're genuinely hungry. If angry, lonely, or tired, do something else!
It's a fun way to say "maybe you can afford the extra calories but I really need to lose weight and that doesn't happen eating things like this."
moderation is key, but wanting to loose the weight quickly makes me want to do an extreme diet, which in the end doesn't work (i no longer have the energy to do a low calorie-2 hours of exercise a day routine)
