Food Addiction Support Group
An individual suffering from a food addiction disorder frequently experiences episodes of uncontrolled eating, or binging, during which they may feel frenzied or out of control. They will eat much more quickly than is normal, and continue to eat even past the point of being uncomfortably full. Binging in this way is generally followed by a period of intense guilt feelings...

I have this idea. You know how some people have a cursing jar, if you curse you have to put money in the jar. Well what about a binge jar, except, don't wait till you have done it. When you want to buy a binge item, instead of buying said item, put the money in a jar. The money could be used to buy a new outfit, or anything else special, except food!! What do you think?

I think that is a great idea! I was 300 pounds two christmasses ago, and now I am down to 215 . I want to loose about 75 more pounds. That might be the way to go. I am a fast food aholic. If I put the money in a jar, it might help.

I think that is a wonderful idea as well!

I like it very much. So ice cream would yield $3, chips $3, chocolate bar $1.00 and so on. Before long you can buy new clothes for the new body.

Holy CRAP!!! do you know what I can do with that amount of MONEY?

I didn't know what I would do with that money either and then I thought about saving to take me and my family out to a nice restaurant and you can eat something healthy there and make them happy. There are other things to do as well save for a nice haircut, a massage, use the money to go on a bus to a place. Think of what you would like to do like buy yourself a book, a fancy article of clothing, a trip or give to charity.

I have just given up diet soda as it aggravates my bladder. It's only been two weeks, and have seen an improvement. Also going to the grocery store the cost of soda is no longer on the list, big savings.

Does cutting diet soda out of your diet really help?

I think this is a wonderful idea, except I usually spend on my credit card...any suggestions on how to work that into the plan?

Marah I think this is a great idea. My sister and her boyfriend have a cursing jar and already have about $400-something. I might have to get my (other) health-conscious sister to join that way I will stick to it. LOL
