Fitness Goals Support Group
This community is dedicated to group support around achieving fitness goals, whatever they may be, through personal training, athletic activites, or other strenuous activity. Whether you are trying to get fit to treat a health problem, boost your mood, relieve stress, or tone your body, this group is a great place to meet other like-minded people who have similar goals.
If I pass u some fat from my big bum then you would receive instant results! :-) Good luck!
and jigga c, I'll take that instant fix!!!!!
So while it is important to work out, nutrition please a role also. Please pay attention to that.
Squats are excellent for "gludes". Do you belong to a gym? If yes, have a trainer that works there show you all the machines that work your gludes.
In order for you to get true results that you want, see a professional. If you go to a few sessions with a trainer at a gym, you can state your goals, and that trainer can set up a program that will put you on the best path to your goals.
Setting a time line is OK but I would say that you should just work towards the goals and your body will eventually come along with you. It could be in 3 weeks or it could take 6 months; your body decides how it reshapes and in what fashion and speed. Just stick to your plan from the trainer, and get that routine adjusted regularly.
You could add working on a stair climber and going to spinning and step classes as well, but a trainer would be best to consult on activities you can do to reach your goals.
You can also get proper nutritional assistance because drinking protein shakes and taking supplements are not going to go directly to your butt or wherever you are thinking they will go.
In time, you will see improvement. You may not reach your goal of a big butt, but you will definitely get the best you can out of what you were given.
I'd recommend keeping a diet/exercise journal. You will be making small gains in strength **long** before you make enough change to notice in the mirror. Keeping track of how much weight you use and/or how many reps you are able to do from week to week will help you see that improvement.
I would echo the advice of NOT working the same muscle group every day. That would be the fast track to overuse and injury... and much MORE delay toward your goal. Even the big bodybuilders split up their routines so that each muscle group has a chance to recover before they work it again.
JustBlue has given you a more realistic picture of what the time frame can be. Really varies, depending on what exercises you do, how often, if you take advantage of rest, proper nutrition... and it can be highly individual. If you belong to a gym see if you can arrange for a few sessions with a trainer - a good one will be able to design a workout that you can do on your own that will take you toward your goal, and may be able to help you be more precise with your diet to enhance the work you do in the gym.
Besides, I'm of the opinion that fitness is itself the worthy goal to pursue. It can have the side effect of making a body more aesthetically balanced - but honestly, a healthier, stronger, more flexible body with the energy to do everything you need to do and to balance your life seems to be the important thing here. Sure, on the way you can choose a path that creates an aesthetic you like - but if that's your ONLY goal I'd worry that discouragement would take you off the healthier road that fitness can be.
In other words, fitness is a lifestyle. Much like we teach children to be lifelong learners, I think we human beings need to be lifelong fitness seekers. The rest is the cherry on top!
