I'm also on SparkPeople (my 'fess up time). They have lots of articles & videos of various topics. Maybe the following link to an article might be helpful to you. In my reading, one thing I know that "they" say is to allow enough recovery time for muscles. They need to repair.

Also, try not to work out the same muscles EVERY day. Give yourself and your muscles time to recover, to lessen the chance of injury :)
