Hi everyone, I haven't been on here for quite some time. Mostly because I started a new work at home job. I pick my own hours from round the clock 7 days a week. I can only work 1 to 1/2 hours at a time and it is no trouble with this company. At first they had me answering calls for a Credit Card company and that was way to stressful. Many callers calling crying about interest rates jumping and not being able to make their payments. I couldn't handle that. Now I am taking orders for one of the shop at home companies. It is actually pretty fun. It is only minimum wage but hey that is better than nothing. It is a pretty fair company to work for. I am NOT an independent contractor. I am an employee and they take out taxes and everything. You do need a land line phone and a computer with at least a 1gig processor and 512 mb RAM. If you have any questions just let me know.

That does sound great. I wish I had even that much time to do that. With all the driving back and forth to school, and being a single mother of 3, it doesnt allow for any time to do even that little bit of work :(

I live in the country and can't get high speed internet so I don't think it would work for me as I am still on dial up. But sounds like a good opportunity. I am looking for something to do from home.

Sounds like a great job. I know there are many at home work opportunities like paid surveys (http://www.findmysurveys.com), and more. Some are legit, some are not. It sounds like you landed yourself a pretty good deal :)

saw this and was wondering if anyone else tried this company out, and how things were going? I need to make more money and saw othes so I', bumping it up as well, and will check into the website.

They aren't in all areas. I went to the site and answered their questions to see if I qualified and got this message after entering that I am in Minnesota:

Thank you for your interest in West At Home. We are not currently recruiting in your area so we are unable to proceed with the enrollment process. Good luck

Just beware of companies that don't operate in all areas.

thanx a ton!! i have been trying to find a legit work at home job since my son was born...in 2004!!!! i applied, wish me luck! :)
btw: it asks how you were referred and when you check "by employee" it asks for the first and last name of the person. i didnt know yours, so i changed it to "friend". i hope i didnt lose you a prize or something! :)
