Brent, I would agree with you if we simply just got ourselves in debt and that our creditors were fair about how they go about getting payment then we have no room to bitch. It seems that you justify their unfair tactics that we have been putting up with as just reward for our debt. I would recommend reading my response to your anger issues with me in my other topic "Must Vent."
I would challenge you to really show why we cannot vent in here?? I would challenge you to really show why someone cannot vent even if their creditors are being fair that they seldom are??? I would challenge you to show us why we have to do it the way you like in here??? I almost chose to ignore your post but you made some comments to me that relate so obviously it is I that is getting under your skin. You have some issues buddy with people like me as I do with people like unfair creditors that treat us like shit.
What I do not understand is that you hate venting and yet you keep reading such posts in here. You commented on my post called, "Must Vent" that clearly sums up what I will be doing. If you hate it so much then listen to hlks suggestion to you, "I would suggest you don't read anymore because I'm sure it'll just piss you off."
Most of us are fed up with the BS treatment we have been getting and are striking back. I challenge you to find one person that is merely bitching about the credit cards they racked up blaming anyone else but themselves. We are bitching because of the 3 to 5 calls a day with voice messages, unlawful threats, their making it impossible to get out of debt and so on (read my comments back to you in Must Vent). If you do not like our venting over the ill treatment WE are receiving and the comments to treat them back with the same ill treatment then don't respond. You make it sound that we must do it your way in here or you will pout. We all admit that it is our fault for debt so don't act as though we are denying that sir.
Most of us aren't trying to blame our debt on other people, just accept/understand the circumstances in our lives and figure out the best way to move forward so we can afford our payments and manage our financial situaton. So if you have good advice to offer that is not judgemental then I'm sure people would love to hear it. Otherwise you sound like your looking down upon people in debt. Most of America is working class poor. Meaning work several jobs, but still barely getting by. It sounds like you have always been pretty fortunate and you parents didn't steal from you, or you have had difficulty finding a job that pays enough.
