I joined this group to have someone to talk to because I dont have any GOOD friends. I relocated 3 yrs ago to help my parents because both have health issues and we could not afford nurses or caregivers to help. I LOST everything doing this. I have had to sleep in my car, in parking lots, rest areas and hotels. I had to give up my apt. because I could no longer afford it only making $14/15 an hr.  I got behind on EVERYTHING and I still took care of my parents who live 3 hrs away. (this is the closest i could get & land a job). Well, this was last July. In Jan. i landed 2 jobs. one making  great $$$ and a part time job. Im leaving in a hotel because my apt put a judgment againt me for $700. I have paid this but im getting denied for apts. I losing hope and faith somedays because days I want to give up. My next option is to do be a roommate until i can pull my credit score up but Im too old for that and I hear so many horror stories in beinmg roommate with a strangers. 

My questions is this...has anyone ever got a home/apartment with this type of judgement? I knew I would have to pay a bigger down payment because of my credit score. But NEED a place like now! Any advise ?
