I am trying to do the online survey thing. Has anyone else tried that. Got to do something to try and make some money. I am very limited on what I can do. Let me know if you have tried this and what you think of it or if you have any other ideas.

Did you think of doing Mystery Shopping? Now that's FUN. There's a website called ShadowShopper.com that acts as a kind of clearing house for mystery shopping jobs.
Another thing you can do is retail set-ups and demonstrations. I made a LOT of money doing those. Basically you get contracted to go into a store and say, change labels on a magazine rack and replace the magazines, or rearrange a display. Pay is usually $12-15.00 an hour for anywhere from 4 to 8 hours of work. AS for demonstrations you go into a store and tell anyone who'll listen about the great new product X for 4-6 hours. But that's usually weekend work and doesn't suit everyone. Fun part with both of these is that if you have to make a purchase to complete the mystery shop, you not only get to keep what you bought you get reimbursed for it as well as getting a fee on top of that. For demonstrations, you get to keep whatever you're demonstrating (like say a coffee machine). So you get free stuff on top of getting paid. Not a bad deal.
