Downstairs lowlife couple getting married on valentine's day, been moving for last few days----and will be leaving their cat behind!
Poor cat, with me giving it two cans of food just minutes ago---it has a really nasty bloody bruise above its eye, whatever happened to it.
Sunday, for me to just call the landlord, about the cat, to be told they owe back rent; the woman of this couple told me a week ago they were moving in order to be in a better neighborhood. Landlord didn't even know they were skipping out.
The woman on disability, with landlord a long time ago saying how she lives in apt ALMOST RENT FREE, thanks to govt----but she and her boyfriend still got back on their rent, for months!
These two just plain waste money, and don't care about the cat, probably knowing full well I'd feed it-----though poor cat will forever be waiting at the lowlife idiot couple's apt door hoping to get in out of the cold and rain.

If you only know one thing about me, it should be _____________________.

I'm sorry to hear about your expensive renting.
When I would complain about my neighbors on news sites, people would badmouth me as though I was some millionaire who has never been around all the bad news people I've been around.
the decades long flop house adjacent to where I live became empty at start of great recession, with its owner owing money; new owner now charges people 45 dollars for a background check----and if they fail, they don't get their money refunded. Before, the cops were always next door, usually on disability day.
(my profile for photos of abandoned cat, and ex-flop house on pages 6 and 13 of my photos)
yes, I feel lucky, too, even for the other cat I have that isn't as friendly as one I put to sleep two weeks ago.
back in 2006/07, when I gave over a thousand dollars of stuff and money to the shelter, over a few months time, they were happy enough to see me...now when I'm broke....
there's also 3 other homeless/whatever cats hanging around here and the ex-flophouse next door....I even gave my $80 cat trap to my landlord 2? years ago when, just maybe, I trapped this same cat, and maybe this same couple went to shelter to get it back. (I had to hitchhike home, in the rain, from next town, when I bought that trap)
I emailed the shelter of other cats, shelter quit emailing me back...I don't even know if they have room, since they did tell me that before, till I offered them more money, which I don't have now.
my other cat, which I got in 2006, was in this same shelter FOR A YEAR---I asked them for the cat that was stuck there the longest, and he's the one I got.
june of last year photo of my old cat laying on his back on walmart saucer chair, while other cat underneath----just thought how maybe he still lays underneath cause he was used to that with my elderly cat.
after a year in cage in no-kill shelter, inches away from other cats, this cat at first wanted to share chairs with my other cat, with my elderly cat seemingly thinking wff?!
I'm starting to feel lousy about not bringing up about the now-abandoned cat with the 2 scumbags who left it behind--me unable to change old ways of not speaking up; happened in 2006, when I was unable to DEMAND, instead of a few lame questions, that my case worker help me with a cat I put to sleep back then.
all over this cat.
cat with wounds I didn't see before---so I called cops, with cops saying cats are different from dogs; outside cats are regarded as strays, unless there's a paper trail, store/vet paperwork, which there isn't.
I had cat trapped in landlord's hallway, idiot I told not to open door, that idiot or another idiot opened door wide, cat let out---so, after a rough day, it felt good to yell out all kind of obscenities. Didn't cost me anything either, since I'm the only one in this building who pays his rent on time, with some of the rest acting a million times worse when drunk.
I'm sorry your cat only lived to 7. Unfortunately, even rescued feral cats already have diseases that they usually cant overcome.
I said to my vet a couple times in last couple years that I hoped my elderly cat would just "go" in his sleep, instead of me having to take him to the vet one last time, which is what I had to do.
