This community is for people who are struggling to meet financial obligations of any kind. Financial challenges include everything from the day-to-day challenges of making ends meet to managing credit card debt to bankruptcy. My favorite day... I get to sit down and figure out my financial well-being... I do a weekly check that just makes sure I'm staying "in line." The end of the month check though is a lot more thorough.
April has seen a growth of 4.88% from March and for the year I'm up 13.61%
What has really amazed me is my savings plan... I mentioned I call these accounts my "Big 4." (Two checking accounts and two savings accounts)
Well from January to February these accounts grew by $700... from February to March they grew by a little over $800, and from March to April they grew by $902. This doesn't include December to January which was also quite "healthy"... anyway for 2014, I have so far saved over $2,500 - that's very conservative with December to January...
The big change this year has been really monitoring my grocery budget... I'm still eating good but at a lot less cost...
For the year I'm saving 42% of my gross pay and 48% of my take home.
I never dreamed I could live this frugally and be very content and have no real wants... and my needs are more then met...
