it didn't go as planned

I got all my monthly bills paid. got my kids beds and my lawnmower and supplies. got my kids clothes. and new tires for my truck. but didn't pay offmy loan. like i wanted. and I'm overdrawn in my bank account by 35.00 i just wish it was easier to keep money. instead of spending all the time. and i only hav 26.00 avail crefit. and 6.00 from my tax refund. so back at square one. secret i been stashing any coins away for small minor emergancies. not counting until end of year. depositing saved coins into savings acct. on decembet 15,.

I cleaned my room and the master bathroom and found some cash i had hidden! I am going to add to it when I have extra money. So I can have more minor emergancy money stored away :)
I don't feel so anxious about anything.
And I am learning things about myself in the process of trying to become an all around healthy person.
In taking some steps forward, I have made some steps backwards, but I still strive to move forward :)

I set aside little cash savings sometimes too. Usually to save up for someones birthday or some event. I saved money for a while before things got bad, because I knew it was coming, so we can go see my grandchild after she is born. I am determined that no matter how bad things get that money will remain untouched. Seeing that grandbaby is not optional. She is our first and they are 11 hrs drive away.

How cool is it to find unexpected money. I love it when that happens. :-)

My mother & grandmother saved every extra dime they had and put it in a "sugarbowl" in the back of the cupboard. I did the same thing and taught my daughter to do it too. Also my son--why not? Men need emergency $$ too. The coins I stash away add up to $200-$300/year if I don't need to use any. If I really tried, it could be more. EVERYBODY needs a sugarbowl.

Yeah I almost got into my stash over the weekend, but I left it alone, that is for real emergancies, If I am sick/dying emergancy. Let's hope it doesn't come to that, but I am doing my best not to touch it.
I have a new grandchild coming in the world in October. I can't wait. My thoughts are all over the place, and I need to focus on my goals for this year.

There used to be bar near where I lived. And I always walked my dogs near there on Saturday, Sunday mornings. The cash and dollar bills in the parking lot from drunk people losing money was incredible. At that time I was working and would gather it all and put it in a fund and at the end of the year I would donate it al to a great non-kill pet shelter.
