LIfe is bad here. My husband got paid yesterday and we paid about $700.00 in bills. That leaves us a little over $300 to get food and other things needed for the house. Then today we get a shut off notice for our electric bill. We had not even received a normal bill yet. We do not have the money and I do not know what to do. I feel so lost and wish I could help more than I do. The closest agency that will help us is over an hour away. I feel like giving up. I am trying to wait to see if I get my disability. We can file our taxes but that does not help right now. It would be a few weeks before we got that back. We have a little over a week to figure out what to do. I am just lost.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmonĀ

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

Good luck to you.
My next main goal is to get private accommodation in order to become more Employable. Few obstacles along the way;
1. My Internet/Phone Contract. I'm with PlusNet and areas outside Magherafelt may not be covered by them. (my contract is for another 14 Months)
2. My Mental Health state. I have had a few psychotic episodes recently.
3. Will the accommodation have parking space for my car?
I just have to keep knocking on doors until I get the desired outcome.
I knew I had to have a roof over my head. I knew I needed transportation for work (at the time I was 20 miles from my job). I knew I needed food and I knew I needed heat and water. Everything else could wait.
I fell behind on credit cards. I fell behind on doctor bills. Yes, I got nasty phone calls and threatening letters but I had to survive.
When I would get a nasty letter I would send them some money along with an apology and also saying I hoped to get better with payments.
I did this for nearly ten years. I did end up paying a ton of late fees and interest but I always had food and a warm place to sleep at nights.... and eventually things turned and everyone got paid...
I just believed that even though I had debts, some debts just had to wait. At the top of that wait list were doctors. If owed a $1,000, I would pay $20 a month or even less. They didn't like it but they were getting paid and in reality no doctor will refuse to treat someone over a past due bill...
