have 100 dollars in bank, gotta take back 30 dollar camera I bought day before my cat put to sleep, to walmart, bad memory...gonna splurge today again to restaurant/trigger across street.
restaurant/trigger across street, cause it has tv, I don't, and could talk to owner; had two slices and two triggers, which hit me like ton of bricks. watched tv, I don't have tv
he from ny, talking to an ex ny couple...idiot me with 2 triggers under my belt, had to say napoleon way maybe born in sicily---when its corscia I thinking about; Wikipedia has him down for Italian.
at noon or two, splurge on spaghetti dinner and triggers, show owner a clipping of Italians once eating spaghetti with their hands---forks not used till later.
and trust him with itailian movies, "umberto d" of down on luck, homeless man with his dog he hoping somebody else to take care of after his suicide.
other Italian movie to loan out: "accaton"e/the scrounger; more Italian poverty. i hope he doesn't put them where he cooking. "umberto d" a Korean import from ebay; checked it on ten dollar tv/dvd combo last night, to make sure it worked on a tv
loan the dvds i hate loaning to anybody...nobody i ever knew ever treated my stuff right. Korean imports off ebay are one thing---3 times as much elsewhere.
but, i gotta get out of apt....my dead cat!....splurge on restaurant, and hope to watch a movie there at noon or two, wait for that time.
and my haircut---nobody knows how to cut hair in this hillbilly town. Sometimes splurge on 2nd haircut weeks later after lousy one.
Gotta look like a good walking corpse. And have to shave more than once a week, with my ten for dollar razors.
this long nonsense stopped me from crying----over my cat; 100 dollars in bank, with even less being there by next disability check, totally unimportant.

Can you identify these rom-coms from just a screenshot from the middle of the films? This is a multiple choice quiz so even if you're not entirely sure you can always take a guess and at least have a 25% chance of getting it right anyway, so why not have a go?! https://www.buzzfeed.com/alysaurus688/rom-com-screenshot-trivia-quiz

I guess the mind tries to stay busy so not to dwell on pain. Its a good idea for awhile, but ok to feel too, otherwise it will come back and bite u least expected....I'm glad your splurging and u need to get out.Probably not something you do often....
sorry about all the triggers though..:( I totally get that.I'm glad to hear your out talking to more people..:)...
library closed today cause of snow, so a long wait for afternoon restaurant.
I feel stupid for having rambled above, crying spell for an excuse.
minutes ago I got out the time magazine clipping, to go to post office to copy: "as late as the 19th century, neapolitians were still consuming spaghetti by hand", with small article also saying how using a fork in 11th century Europe was considered "excessive, with one woman's bad health being blamed by a religious fanatic on her using a fork!
I was raised in a very dysfunctional, incestuous, violent home. I grew up way before I should have. I never got to experience the things that "normal" children got to do.
Shortly after I got sober (1994) I began therapy for a multitude of calamities. It eventually led to my "inner child" and learning to "see" him, acknowledge him and for the first time to allow that child to be a child.
At the age of 38, I made a spaghetti dinner and ate it all with my fingers. Like a child, by the end of the meal, my face was covered with sauce, I had spaghetti everywhere... and yes, I loved every minute of it.
Sometimes, I believe a person needs to be an innocent child to let go of the things we are taught, or things we believe. I often think of that experience and it always fills my soul with warmth, knowing the child within me was still alive...
Sometimes, it's best to just feel the grief, rather than take unwise steps just to distract yourself from the pain and sadness.
I don't think we can do much more than postpone the grief, anyway. And we end up in a worse position than we were in the first place.
I hope the first haircut you get is a good one, thus sparing you from the trouble and expense of having it 'fixed'!!
I hope everything starts looking up for you.
We have to look for the good in life in order to see any of it.
I've read enough of things you have read to form one conclusion.
I think you are far too rough on yourself.
You are by NO means an idiot.
Try to be a bit more gentle on yourself.
You've just suffered a very great loss.
And life was already plenty tough enough.
Wishing you much happiness in your future.
