We made the mortgage this month!
Hey, one bill at a time, one month at a time.
My first biological grandchild is due tomorrow (technically today seeing as it is after midnight), and even though they are 11 hrs drive away, and I won't see them till my grand daughter is 6 weeks old, I am beside myself excited. I am thankful for cell phones, computers, digital photography, FB, etc.....
My 24 year old high functioning Autistic son with learning disabilities is at culinary school and living in an apartment an hour away. He calls me 2 to 3 times a day. He is taking care of business and attending classes and dealing with homework and such as best he can. He has access to tutors. It is hard for me to let go and trust but I am trying and I am so proud of him for taking this huge step. He is amazing, friendly, and a person of great faith.
I still have huge concerns about a great many things, but I am in a pretty good place psychologically right now. I had a really great counseling session today with a new counseling service I found that is a ministry and almost free.
Today, I am happy. :-)
