Hello, friends! I am new to this community. I have been in the shy community for about two months, and I am now branching out. I encourage you to read my Discussions postings in the shy community if you can.
Do you know of anything that's free?
Examples:
- Free 15 minute internet computer use is available at my local public library on a first-come first-serve basis, and also 1 hour usage for those who sign up in advance.
- Free e-mail addresses are available from a number of providers, including mail.com.
Do you know of anything that's low cost? Examples:
- I bought a pre-paid cell phone (mine's from TracFone) that costs me as little as $10 a month for service because I buy a $20 airtime card once every two months and use the phone mostly to allow other people to contact me so that I am available anytime anywhere. When I need to place a phone call, I try to make the call from a land-line (regular) phone. The cell phone itself cost $15.
- The U.S. Postal Service has issued a "Forever Stamp" that is guaranteed to be good even if rates go up after the stamp was bought.
I know we are all hurting and many of us are unable to help ourselves, yet one of the miracles of being human, and social creatures, is that we can often help others when we are helpless to help ourselves, and so by mutual assistance we can survive, thrive,...maybe even prosper!
