Halfagood's post made me wonder if anyone out there knows how credit counseling effects your credit score or report. We would be so much better off if we could get some relief from our CC debt. Lord known they have collected more than there share over the past "however many years". It sure would be nice to get out from under them. At the rate we are going we will be paying them for another 10 years or more. Thinking about borrowing from life insurance policy to pay them off. Just not sure how smart that would be.
