last month had less than two dollars left in my bank savings, this month to end with about 15 dollars. Have about 30 dollars at home, and about 6 things to eat, till next Tuesday church pantry visit.
Today, I bought a loaf of bread and dollar of ice pops; been dipping the bread in leftover salad dressing today to eat. Buy food at store for less than five dollars, so I at least have money to leave my apt, for something to do; i.e.visit the grocery store.
And will probably buy a 4-disc movie set at walmart for ten dollars----which still leaves me with 20 bucks for food for next 6 days, which should be enough, when you can buy a no-name can of beefaroni for 79 cents.
I do have to already start worrying about winter, cause heating costs will really make me broke, but...have a roof over my head, my cat is ok, important bills are paid---and I keep on hoping to lose weight.

Recently, I found an old taste treat of mine from childhood. A can of Underwood Deviled Ham. I still love the stuff. A can is a $1, add some mayo and 3-4 hardboiled eggs and maybe some relish and I have sandwiches for at least a week. I eat these for lunch... a good cheap meal.
It might seem like a lot of money to make but when you figure out that you have sandwiches for over a week... it is a very affordable meal....
