jus' my bitterness speakin'....
Have 20 bucks to spend for my own food to make it these next 18 days (I count, like a prisoner given a long sentance) till next $. I want to lose weight, so the lack of food doesn't bother me too much.
I'm glad my two cats have enough food to next month, and other bills paid.
Have to stop worrying about any future events I can't control, like maybe to dentist again, or a one-way trip to vet for a cat.
Be nice if I had money to move to another town, if only for change of scenery, after living in this town....MY ENTIRE LIFE!
Can't even afford a new bicycle, for transportation, till next month.
But, at least I don't waste my $ on the lottery. Like in some cliched urban ghetto, are enough people in my rural ghetto who waste $ on that, rubbing off tickets in the mom & pop grocery store, me finding losing tickets scattered about.
Oh, great god of tens, twenties, fifties, and hundreds, please rain down some of that holy wealth from the 1880s gold piece in the sky, to me, your humble servant. Amen.

Can you identify these rom-coms from just a screenshot from the middle of the films? This is a multiple choice quiz so even if you're not entirely sure you can always take a guess and at least have a 25% chance of getting it right anyway, so why not have a go?! https://www.buzzfeed.com/alysaurus688/rom-com-screenshot-trivia-quiz

Spiritual awakenings take time. Give her some space to breathe first.
Wise words indeed.
ITV used to have pioneering Night Time TV 20-25 Years ago, now they are pushing Teleshopping at night time. (as they do with their other Channels) They were advertising a multi-CD compilation of 50's Love Songs (some of which Gran was singing along to) and my head was about to spontaneously combust. Most TV Channels in UK are aimed at Senior Citizens. (the others are aimed at Young Mothers or Kids) It's assumed that all British Men go to the Pub/Nightclub. (and that all Married Men are 'Whipped')
I need to thank God that my Gran doesn't know how to operate a CD Player. Perhaps her ignorance towards the things we take for granted can sometimes be bliss.
