Hi-well, to add to my problems, I just received a letter from the county treasurer that since I didn't pay my property taxes in full by May 31, it will be auctioned off for taxes. The notice will be put into 4 newspapers on Sept. I have been trying to give them money each month when I had it. I called them and let them know about my situation-no job since May, 2008, as well as having breast cancer, lupus, fibromyalgia, degenerative disc disease, and a brain injury. They pretty much said nothing matters-they get their money or I lose the house. I have contacted government people in my state for help, but they say there isn't much they can do. On my own, I paid off the mortgage, and for 33 years have been up to date with my taxes. Technically, I am only 3 months late, since the taxes were due May 31. Does anyone have ideas how I can keep my house-maybe something I haven't thought of? I asked my bank about a home equity line of credit, which would solve all my problems, but I have to have a job before they will do that. Thanks for listening to me. God Bless. Kathy

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
