Sooooooooo much to be thankful for....the main is life itself.
Saw the cardiologist on Monday and had an EKG as well. Everything is finally going well. EKG showed that no more fluid is going around the heart. I also saw for the first time my heart valve. I felt like a proud poppa seeing it on the screen. My heart would contract and the valve would open... then it would close when the heart expanded. I felt like a proud poppa and for the first time I really was in awe with how my HP put so many loving and caring people in my life when I needed them.
Work has been going well and I do believe it was the best thing for me... strength is coming back and am finally getting into good sleep habits. Got my first paycheck today... The first one in two months, really felt nice holding it and also knowing that by being back to work I got holiday pay for Thanksgiving.
Two weeks on Monday, I'll be heading across the pond. Rent for two months will be paid and two small CC bills need to be paid as well... besides the normal utility bills, internety6 and cell phone.
I also want to get new luggage. My old one is starting to show wear and tear and the thought of it getting thrown around on planes won't make my travels less stressful.
My flight is really cheap but doing it the way I did, I have a nine hour layover in Atlanta, so I will be booking a motel near the airport for two nights. The plane arrives at 10 AM... so I want to make sure I have a room. This will be a freebie. All my travel expenses I use my Orbitz CC and doing so I get discounts on future travels. My motel will be free....
Anyway, I do hope everyone has a nice Thanksgiving and thank you for your prayers along my journey. For the first time, I think I have turned the corner and health is on the way...
