Good morning!
Woke up to find a saliva-covered toy mouse on... the dining room table.
"HOney? Why is there..."
"Oh, isn't that cute?" said Hubby. "Dixie left it for me."
"The cats are not allowed where we eat or cook!"
"Oh, it was so cute!" said Hubby. "My little Dixie Cup cat!"
I'd have kicked something in frustration, but I have an ingrown toenail. Drat.
That was my first WHAT?! moment. I'm not even awake enough to take the morning meds, didnt' fall asleep till 4 AM, had tons of bad sleep, and... Whatever.
OK. Something to drink. Yay. A sort-of breakfast.
And... There's a squirrel clinging to the screening of the catio. OK? Suicidal squirrel?
My cats? Hiding. Appalled. Absolutely terrified and freaked out. WHAT?!
OK, that's when I call it. Today needs a re-do. Still no idea what the squirrel is about, btw, as the mockingbirds were not in evidence in their morning Swoop-Dive Attacks.
Whoop... Squirrel just decided to pop off and scamper away. Saw me looking?

I'm so tired. I slept last night but not long enough at all. I still feel like absolute shit. My period is here, my stomach has gone haywire and it's supposed to rain the next several days. And I'm anxious about my doctors appointment tomorrow morning. I don't want to be brushed aside or dismissed again when I know something is wrong. Thankfully today hasn't been as crazy, I really need it to stay that way this afternoon when I'm here by myself, I can't handle the phone ringing constantly today, I'm basically just trying to get through the day so I can get home and sleep.
I discovered late last night that the outside freezer was struggling with the heat. I went out to grab an ice cream - good thing that I did. Ended up having to offload part of the freezer into the new fridge freezer. And then put a fan on the freezer to help cool it down. That was after midnight. Then, because I’m a genius, I decided to look at new freezers. They are sold out everywhere. Lowe’s has some a available for delivery in OCTOBER. So, no sleep for me between worrying about potentially
having to buy one, getting it sooner, money, partner not working etc. I could scream/cry.
There was some rain in the area yesterday. We got none of it. Maybe tomorrow or Friday.
I got up to finding Smurf sitting in the family room sink which has a small kitchen. The family room used to be a studio apartment for the previous owners paralyzed BIL. Pretty sure that beats a slimy mouse on a table.

We are getting a bit of rain off and on. Nothing substantial but if it means that we don’t have to water today I will take it.
My partner tore the big freezer apart and reorganized it. He still has a fan on it but it seems to be doing a lot better. I’m still debating getting a new one. I have no idea how old this one is as it came with the house.
Having anxiety off and on. Trying to just turn off my brain and maybe grab a nap.
I'm sorry I was away. Just been really depressed and in so much pain. Typinh hurts so much.

Fantod I am do sorry things are so tight with your partner not working. Praying this virus gets under control in your area so he can get back. Miki I hope you can get some rest. You run like crazy and I have no idea how.
