I have lots of joint pain in my ankles, knees and feet. Hot baths and showers does make them feel better. A lady that I work with had a sample from her doctor of voltaren gel. It's used to treat osteoarthritis, its a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAIDS). She let me try it on my knees, and it's one of the best things I have ever tried. I don't have osteoarthitis but it does help my joint pain and sometimes my muscle pain a lot. I called my doctor and told him I tried a sample and would like for him to call me in some to the pharmacy. He did and it's the best thing I ever did for myself. It's kind of pricy, about $35 a tube after insurance. The pharmacist said I got lucky because they can't keep it on the shelf. Just thought I would share this with you guys so you can look into it. It might work for you.
