Fibromyalgia Support Group
You're not alone in your pain. Fibromyalgia is a condition that can be difficult to diagnose and manage. If you're trying to cope with pain throughout your body, sleep problems, general fatigue, or other common fibromyalgia symptoms, you're in the right place. The community is here for you to talk about therapies and share your challenges.
I have never had a moments regret about opting for the radical approach, although recovery isn't fun.
My comfort level and sex life became better than normal.
Just one person's experience, but wanted to tell you there is quality of life after a hysterectomy.
The best to you.
I really appreciate both of your thoughts. Very comforting.
Sincerely,
Rsimmons
Fibromyalgia doesn't cause vaginal spasms but a commonly coexisting condition, vulvodynia, does. It comes up fairly often in my support group.
There is a lot of info around but this is a good place to start http://www.acog.org/~/media/For%20Patients/faq127.pdf?dmc=1&ts=20130810T0007274178
The spasms, aching, burning and pain from my Pelvic Floor Myalgia has been helped the most by physical therapy (there are physical therapists trained for this specific thing). They can do internal massage on the pelvic floor muscles and fascia and locate trigger points. I have one area inside on left side that is my main source of pain. They can also do biofeedback to help you learn how to relax those areas. That was huge for me.
Just wanted to share what helped me.
Hugs to you!
