Fibromyalgia Support Group
You're not alone in your pain. Fibromyalgia is a condition that can be difficult to diagnose and manage. If you're trying to cope with pain throughout your body, sleep problems, general fatigue, or other common fibromyalgia symptoms, you're in the right place. The community is here for you to talk about therapies and share your challenges.
There are things you can do to lessen it. Extra potassium in your system is one. You can take it as a supplement as in a Vitamin.
Also, people have recommended Coconut water. At first, the taste gets a little taking used to, but you can mix it with another type of juice to help with the taste. I like to put it into smoothies with berries in the morning. Yum!
How much of a dose are you on to help with your flares?
Wish you well!
Thanks for the input!
I don't have migraines, but my pain doc had me try it for fibro pain. I didn't really give it longer than about a week because of the side effect.
THanks!
The loopy feeling, gets better. Or you just get used to it I suppose. I never really had big problem with it. Then again, I don't work, so I don't have a task that makes me have to concentrate so much to focus. So I am not sure if that makes a difference.
Hope you are all having a good Sunday afternoon!
Hope you are doing alright :)
I go on vacation a week from yesterday, headed to see my mom in New Brunswick, Canada! Excited about that, but not excited about driving for 12 hours....
Have a wonderful time on your trip!
Thanks for the added suggestion to take potassium, and coconut water along with topamax............I never heard to do that until now. I take 100mg along with Cymbalta which is 90mg.
I just started getting burning/ tingling souls of feet, and palms of hands, after being on 25 mg of Topamax x2 daily.for a little over a year...wondering if because of such a great time lag if these new symptoms, might just be yet more Fibro symptoms...
