I think this time of the year we get on overload with all the holidays coming up plus get worn out physically and mentally.
Try some b12 tablets and see if that helps.
This weekend my twin GodSons were confirmed. It is a 1.5hr drive, so I drove down on Saturday and stayed til Monday afternoon. I thought if I took it in little steps, I would be able to work this little adjustment into my rutine. But I was wronge, I could hardly drive home today, almost fell asleep driving. Took a 3hr nap when I got home.
Tonight I feel totally exhausted. Wish I could cancle everything for the next two weeks and just stay home and sleep/rest. I can't even think of what I have to do the rest of this week. LOL Oh well, maybe I will just not worry about it.
I am hoping that listening to my body when it says rest will help me to eventually feel better.
Good Luck and take care of yourself.

I have found with not being able to sleep for days then too tired to get out of bed I would try to get sleep whenever it would come if I could.
It comes in cycles don't know why.
I try to do what I can I've accepted that it aint much some days and others I can do more.
Cronic fatique usually accompanies Fibro so does fibro fog which makes us lousy spellers.
I had a good couple of weeks and thought it was my new Vit D prescription but then I suddenly started going downhill again and I think I'm in full crash mode.
When I got up this morning I was trying to shoulder and elbow my way through the day but had to go down for a nap 2 hrs after I got up. This is really tiring......ha ha get it?
Anyways, I have suffered with Chronic Fatigue for years (undiagnosed and ignored) and could always sleep like a log at the drop of a dime, but wake up completely exhausted. It wasn't until I actually broke down and realized that I was going to lose my job and etc. (falling asleep at my desk and etc.), that I decided to see a sleep specialist. Yes, dealing with having to go through a sleep study is a pain (in every aspect), but I think in the long run it has been worth it.
My doctor informed me that too many MDs and people are concerned with REM sleep, but with people with Fibro, that is not really the aspect of sleep that they should be concerned with. If I am not mistaken, he said that it was Stage 4 (or maybe 5) sleep, that should be looked at. Come to find out, I was not even getting three percent of what I should be getting.
So, the bottom line is that he prescribed and I have been taking a medication called Xyrem, and that has helped quite a bit. It is powerful and very controlled/monitored, but anyone who is suffering from chronic fatigue and etc., might want to look into it. Just ask your doctor and also ask to see a sleep specialist.
Too many people place too little importance on good and restorative sleep.
Best luck with getting rest and energy.
The b12 is a good idea. I get the shots once a month. Before I had that diagnosed, I was so tired I could hardly make myself do anything.
Always if I do more than usual (like you're taking care of daughter and granddaughter), that'll make things worse...either pain, fatigue, or both.
I hope you feel better soon.
Hugs, ELizabeth
How is it working for you? I have another appt with my fibor doctor on the 7th and she has fibro and has used xyrem and says it is great, but the cost is so high most people won't ever be able to afford to try it.
Could you keep me posted on how you are doing with xyrem?
