Fibromyalgia Support Group
You're not alone in your pain. Fibromyalgia is a condition that can be difficult to diagnose and manage. If you're trying to cope with pain throughout your body, sleep problems, general fatigue, or other common fibromyalgia symptoms, you're in the right place. The community is here for you to talk about therapies and share your challenges.
Hope you can get through it all okay. Take time for yourself when you can. Hope you can get your medication figured out too.
I'm very excited for Christmas with my girls, but understand how you both feel. I don't want to go to familys houses and bake and cook and everything else that comes with the season. It literally stresses me out to the point of tears because I already hurt so bad and feel so exhausted. I hope we all get through it and can enjoy the Lords birthday!
Have a great day!
I still have last minute shopping to do and I wanted to get a couple of casseroles made and in the freezer. All I want to do is stay here in the bed, what a life!
I know God understands. It's not about all the activity, but about our relationship with Him. So I will do what I can and not worry about the rest.
Twinmomab...your way of taking meds sounds good. Right now I take .75 in the morning and .75 at bedtime. I sleep fine, but having that foggy, out-of-it feeling during the day. Do you find that taking 2 pills at night leaves you very tired in the morning? I'm thinking of just staying as is right now...afraid of changing anything until after Christmas. I hope you enjoy a wonder holiday with your girls.
Fibrolizzy...that actually sounds nice, sitting in bed with your pjs at 10:15. I get out of bed at 6:00am to get my oldest kids off to school and then stay up to get the youngest out the door and then get ready for work. With the lyrica, I actually get up much easier. I do hope that you get everything done that you need to do before Christmas, but you're right...God completely understands. It's all about our relationship with him.
Bluesun...oh my goodness, you just moved? That IS added stress! Good for you for doing the on-line shopping. And, yes, you can be festive next year. :)
Larks...more than the pain, I think the exhaustion bothers me most!
