So take this time to cry and feel bad about what has happened to you. And know that we are right there with you, sending you big hugs to help you fight another day.
Sometimes I just have to give myself permission to just feel bad, to grieve, and then something nice will happen to make me realize that even though this is hard, I am glad that I am alive to experience the day, no matter what that brings.
Sending you a big hug, Kimmee
I feel the same way. I guess I am lucky I can not produce tears so I cant cry! ( this is causing my cornias to deteriate so it was a joke that I'm lucky)
I feel like I can't handle this another day. I told my family to stop talking about it to me. They ask how I 'm doing but dont even try to understand it. I have a black lab that is 14yr old too. She doesn't even want to get out of her crate sometimes. I also have a 5 yr old beagle who needs walked and I can't do it she pulls to much and puts me in bad pain.
Hope you have better days!
Hug,
Kim
As for the drugs...I have done exactly the same....stopped taking all but the ones i need to survive and it has helped me to focus without all the side effects.
Good luck with Billy, hope he gets better soon.

I discovered at one point that cutting out hearing for a little while is helpful. Sounds weird, but when I put on the earmuffs for sound at work, I noticed that the whole world seemed to quiet down, inside and out. I just walked around with them on all day. Maybe you could cover your ears and cuddle your pooch. Sounds like a lovely time for just a few minutes relief. Sometimes, a minute can make a huge difference.
HUGS!
Meg
What kind of work do you do? And, have you thought about moving to a new location one with a more agreeable climate?
I have met people from northern American states who have moved south because the weather may have been better for their health.
I live in Georgia; but I wouldn't recommend it because of the heat and humidity, which may bother your condition. The heat creates additional stress making your body, heart, work harder to keep up.
And, I want to also say, that keeping my apartment warm helps keep down some of my pain. I like for my air conditioner thermostat to stay around at least 86 degrees.
Yesterday, I was emotionally aggravated and in pain; and, I figided with the air conditioner all day. Then, late in the evening I remembered warming the place up, and I the pain went away I was able to settle down and take a nap.
We lost one of our cats a few weeks ago, and I know how hard it is to see one of your beloved animals not well. I hope and pray Billy gets better soon as well as you, my Friend!
Take care, and know that we're here for you. Elizabth
I hope that you have a good support system in place, ds is wonderful, medical team if good is essencial, but having supportive family and friends, isthe most important.
There were a couple days last week and thid week that I couldnt stop crying, I finnally broke down and gave it all over to God. I have given my turned my life over to God yers ago and accepted him as my Lord and Saviour, but as fibro gradually got worse, I got caught up in my misery and slowly turned away from Him. Last week I totally gave the control of fibro an my pain to him.
In the last year or so, ive lost most of my closest friends due to fibro with others I have limited cintact. All my family is in Poland, and I have nobody here. I dont even have anyone to put as emergency contact when im at drs. It really gets so tough.
Peg, I hope that your spirits get lifted and that your body feels better. Please keep fighting, I know its very difficult but you are so worth it.
Sending lots of gentle hygs and live.
Tired of hurting, tired of crying...tired of this life!
