I've had bad weeks and then to handle being told I have RA and I about lost it. It was cute, now that I'm able to smile alittle,when my husband got home his first words were had I talked to my support group.I received alot of prayers, hugs,soups,flowers and love from everyone. I don't know how long this flare up will last but prayer works because I'm having a better day mentally. I've been asked by several how there treating my RA. I have been put on Prednisone. There is not a rhuemy at the clinic I go to. I have an appt. Oct. 26th with a pain doctor at a clinic that basis it on your income. My doctor will share there lab results but she wants me to ask if they have a rhuemy.Will have to find out.
BUT the thing I want to say is - Tomorrow maybe different but right now I'm remembering The Lord doesn't give me more than I can handle nore does He make mistakes. I am so glad He led me here. TW

Sorry TW I have been MIA due to PC being down so happy to be back. Sorry you've been having some rough flares but happy to hear your feeling somewhat better ,,,prayerfully tomorrow will be even better for U.

Hello, I am glad that you are feeling better spiritually. I wanted to say that I think you need a second opinion on the rhumo, it can easily be misdiagnosed when you have fibro. Just like lupus, there are the same symtoms, but you dont really have it. My father was disgnosed with rhumo, but I believe he had Fibro. Anyway just an idea. and I WANTED TO SEND YOU BLESSING AND PAIN FREE DAYS.

Love, support, and prayers! It keeps us going. It's why we are here. Sometime we are the ones giving and sometimes the ones recieving. But, you're right God gives us what we need to get through it. Hugs

So glad that you are feeling some better. As someone else posted, I would also advise you to try your best to see a Rheumy. It seems in my history that doctors were quick to put me on Prednisone, but in the long run, I suffered as a result of the side effects. I initially had more energy and a little less pain, but later the side effects were more troublesome. I encourage you to get a second opinion. BUT continue to keep up your spirits and I know that your faith will bring you through these days and each day- whatever they may bring. Glad that you are getting the support that you need and I encourage you to keep plugging away. So glad that you've had a " good day" and we pray for many more for you and all on the fibro forum to have more " good days" than " bad ones". That was the motto that my husband and I developed over 18 years ago, and we're still plugging away.
