Fibromyalgia Support Group
You're not alone in your pain. Fibromyalgia is a condition that can be difficult to diagnose and manage. If you're trying to cope with pain throughout your body, sleep problems, general fatigue, or other common fibromyalgia symptoms, you're in the right place. The community is here for you to talk about therapies and share your challenges.
They recommend you go off it very slowly because of the dangerous side effects of withdrawal.
Hugs,
Bobbi
Good luck!
But about 3 weeks after I was off Zoloft, I began having weird thoughts. Images of a gun, etc. Now, I NEVER made any plan to do anything with a gun, never had access to one, but the fact that I was having these thoughts and images pop into my head freaked me out. That was in addition to my depression coming back in full force. My guess is, that's the closest I came to being hospitalized for depression. I shouldn't care, but there's still stigma around depression, so I'm relieved I didn't need that level of care.
I was put on a different antidepressant, and pretty much resigned myself to being on them for life.
I found the weird sensations from tapering off Zoloft a little strange, but manageable. It was the effect of not being on anything that was the real nightmare for me.
They're not for everyone, for sure. But there are some folks (like me) that they're a life saver.
Just wanted to post a slightly different perspective.
