Fibromyalgia Support Group
You're not alone in your pain. Fibromyalgia is a condition that can be difficult to diagnose and manage. If you're trying to cope with pain throughout your body, sleep problems, general fatigue, or other common fibromyalgia symptoms, you're in the right place. The community is here for you to talk about therapies and share your challenges.
Maybe its time to get outside or go somewhere just get your mind on nature or anything, Maybe go to the park and watch the little children laugh and play.
Hope the day goes better.
Chronic illness has a way of isolating people. I isolate myself because I can't handle much stimulation and people tire me out.
Find something you love to read or settle in with a movie you know you like. Also, writing about it helps. I write about it because I don't want to bother people who already know how badly I feel. I keep a journal close by and put my thoughts down no matter how dreary they are.
Wishing you some peace and ease today.
Warm hugs,
Leo
I am sure the grief is immense and has been hard on you physically and emotionally.
I wish I could help ease your pain.
It's good that you reach out to people for support like you have here.
Is there anyone you have for support in your life? Any family or friends. Any support groups? Bereavement counseling?
There is a bereavement group here in DS too.
Pain and depression can be a cycle. It's a tough one.
I'm sorry you are on a lot of medications too and you are still having a hard time.
I hope things get better for you.
Hugs,
ELizabeth
Have you considered getting yourself (and your sad furry friend) a new kitten? I know you can't replace a pet but there are so many in shelters who need someone to love them. Only you know if that's something you're ready for.
As I've stated so many times before, I wish we all lived in closer proximity so that we could give each other real hugs. But since that's not the case, here's a great big virtual hug for you:
((((HUG))))
Jo
The loss of loved ones, the sorrow and the empty space they leave in our lives really can trigger us to feei much more sensitive to Fibro pain.
This is a really bad day, but it's almost over, so you've just about gotten through it, and that is an accomplishment given all the pain you have been feeling. So, be proud of yourself.
There have been some great suggestions- writing is so cathartic, watching a movie, maybe some ice cream...
Joysiss is very right that there are many little fur balls out there that are in so much need of a home, and maybe in time, when you are ready, you can provide a home for one such kitty. Clearly you love cats, and have a great deal of compassion and caring and any cat would be luck to have you as his person.
But this can only happen when and if you are ready, because as Joysis said, there is no replacing a beloved pet;
Chronic Illness can isolate us, and maybe right now is not the best time to figure out how to reach out into the community as you are in mourning, but for now, know that everyone here is wishing you well and offering as much support as they can.
Please keep us updated on how you are feeling- day to day, or even hour to hour. We're here to listen to each other.
Best, LuLu
