Hello fellow fibro warriors,
I have a simple question and one i'm sure you've asked yourself a million times !!!!!!
I was fortunate and had about a week of feeling sort of normal ( well for us and..... I was grateful ) then...........
Yesterday , I went to the chiropractor and a baby shower yesterday and I woke up totally crashed. Pain, feel sick , down all day , etc.
I know no one has the answer but I have to ask - does this happen to anyone else ??? Is this why we hesitate to make even the most
normal plans because we're afraid we won't be able to function the next day !! I'm just so frustrated and sad !!!
Thank you for listening !!! Warm hug to you all !! PJ

Can you identify these rom-coms from just a screenshot from the middle of the films? This is a multiple choice quiz so even if you're not entirely sure you can always take a guess and at least have a 25% chance of getting it right anyway, so why not have a go?! https://www.buzzfeed.com/alysaurus688/rom-com-screenshot-trivia-quiz

... observed a solar eclipse.

It is just not worth it for me to have my pain increase any higher than it is, if I can help to prevent it. Plus, the fatigue issues. Plus , I have 4 lumbar sacral issues.
Activities/chores around the house I pace and space out. Over the years I have learned to do that fairly well. Knowing your limits and respecting them for me came with acceptance.
Now, do I occasionally over do it around the house on a half way decent fibro day? GUILTY
Anyhow, this is my experience. There are a lot of fibro folks that can tolerate a lot more than me and yay for them and I mean that sincerely not rudely. I wish I could still work , but I am grateful to receive disabilty.
You are not alone
I've lost friends and have family who won't speak to me anymore because I've missed events because I do not attend anything anymore since I know it will cause me greater pain and fatigue and the whole nine and it's just not worth it to me to hurt more just because someone invited me to their wedding but won't notice if I were there anyhow. But when you know leaving your house to run one quick errand will leave you in agony then you know bigger events will decimate you. Other people never understand unless they live with you and see it every day (and even then they don't always understand). I still say the worst thing about this illness isn't the pain, fatigue, or any other symptom - it's the fact that we constantly have to explain ourselves and what we go through and still have people not believe us.
I want to thank each of you for answering my question and sharing you daily, weekly, monthly life.
It is sad that this is the life we are living and sometimes it gets depressing !
Your sharing with me helped me feel understood and not alone in the struggle.
Blessings to you all and I wish for you less pain and more energy ! :) PJ
