Hi, this is almost a comic post. I couldn't believe it. Once again, my sister asks me to "'chip in" to restore some godawful photograph or print from WWII, a relic of my recently dead father who left us out of his will.
She will hang it in her home and it needs a mere $120 of photoshopping. I can't believe, and she has the most loose change in the family (no kids), she asks yet again.
What is with this reflex? Is the facebook share mentality? Is it : oh, this is family, so why don't y'all pay for whatever I want?
Man, I'm so sick of her demanding all of the furniture and whatever of my dead parents. And now, we're supposed to pay her for some improvements to the stuff she just grabs because she's the one who makes the most noise.
Ok, end of rant. I've asked her twice plainly to call me when she has time to (lament) talk about her christmas experience which was separate from mine. But no, she's too busy. But not too busy to ask me (and my kids) to ""chip in".

I cannot imagine someone asking for you to pitch in for something going in her house. I guess laughter is the best way to deal with it.

Many hugs. Ugh. And sorry, that's waaay too much to photoshop. Seriously, go to a community college and ask them to do it for a class project. You get free photoshop, they get real experience on real old photos. (OK, maybe I'm the only one who looks for outs like that, but honestly, asking family for money is... well, if it's not for an emergency surgery, it's kinda tacky, y'know?)
