Has anyone had parkinson's like symptoms from taking nuerontin?

I take neurontin and the only problem i have is the clumbsiness. but ive had that since my fibro got bad about 9-10 years ago, now in the last 5 years its gotten alot worse. Ive been on the neurontin for about 6 months.

He just upped my dose again, i will end up taking 1800 mg a day.

How much neurontin a day to you take?

I think 1800 mg is too much but he seems to think it will help my pain. I am a so darn irritated with him.
He put me on the neurontin for the nerve pain in my hands arms and feet, not for fibro. grrr

I was only on it for 4 days. Took only 75mg once at bedtime. It was day four that had me shaking like I had parkinsons, It was terrible and I was more depressed than I had ever been in my life. I can't imagine 1800 mg!!

I have been taking it for quite awhile with no problems. Maybe you are sensitive to that med. I would check with doc. marilyn

    theatre and I are there already. I'm having a very berry tea with crackers, cheese and cherry tomatoes and she's having a joint with some beer and we're both on really comfy recliners on thick pile carpet. we need some help with the decor if anyone is around??

    I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
