Fibromyalgia Support Group
You're not alone in your pain. Fibromyalgia is a condition that can be difficult to diagnose and manage. If you're trying to cope with pain throughout your body, sleep problems, general fatigue, or other common fibromyalgia symptoms, you're in the right place. The community is here for you to talk about therapies and share your challenges.

I have subclinical hypothyroidism meaning that in spite of having 'normal' levels, my thyroid doesn't work properly. It manifested in me in severe GI problems, loss of my eyebrows and a very gravelly voice.
Your Pdoc should be able to order the bloodwork. Mine always did and then I'd just take it to my regular doctor and the clinic would do it.
Hope you get feeling better.
I think I would have to have tried every single other therapy before agreeing to shock therapy. In other words, it should be a very last resort.
Have you tried everything else or are you just tired of being sick and want an easier way to cope? If so, shock therapy isn't the answer for you. Hugs, Fern

Marilyn, did not know you were a psyche nurse. I was too in my "other" life. Burned out and entered business many years later. I counseled during the vietnam time, major issues!!!
Gentle hugs friends!!!
