This is really interesting. A point made in the book I'm reading by Donald William Scott and William L. C. Scott:
"...certain serological diseases only present when a critical concentration of a pathogen is achieved, and since women have about 20 percent less blood per poud of weight than men, and since they also have 20 - 25 percent less haemoglobin than men, the critical level of concentration will be achieved about 4 to 6 times faster than men. "
He is making the point that Stven Straus, a head of Medical Virology of the NIH had lied in a publication, in an attempt to make CFS and FM out to be a psychological disease that women who can't handle stress exhibit.
