First and foremost Poet, I truly apologize for the statement I made about " a better place" regarding your friend. I know you only from your postings, art and poems, and of course did not know your friend at all.
To all the others that I have upset here, the ppl that have voiced their feelings and to the others who read and did not post, I again apologize. The very last thing I'd want is to add stress and unease.
Why did I say such a thing? It was an attempt to give comfort, ease, and to lessen her grief. But I honestly I do not say that to people I know in life, for fear that it will give them worry and discomfort. I have lost a few family members recently, so maybe that is what loosened my tongue. Also I have recently viewed posts here regarding beliefs. That is still no excuse, I can't believe I actually made that post!
I have the upmost respect for all ppl, their own beliefs, and their own right to choose. I have my own, for myself, but I never push them on others. I do not judge others. You certainly can't tell that from my statement "in question".

I totally understand the reason behind your statement, we all hope we go to "a better place". However, the way your response was worded, struck a cord with me and others.
We can all believe in a "better place" without being a "christian." Everyone believes in what they believe, whether it be christian, buddist, juddiasm(sp),pagan or what have you.
I do applaud you for your apology. I for one, accept it. I hope everyone can accept it and move on. I realize you were only to trying to express your sympathy to a friend. Sometimes we just don't express ourselves in a way that everyone understands from our own personal viewpoint.
We all do it sometime or another, but hey believe me we love ya anyway.

internet as an overall advantage, and apologies are one I have made in the past, so .Lets keep a sound mind-this is a support
network, and I have gained great insight. Even if a tone or quality has eared me, gotta have a straight face and remember we all communicate differrently, and we are all different-Thats what makes it so unique.
If I have offended any-one and maybe i have, I
never want to hurt anyone intentionally.
