Plan for Self-Care:
Don’t get hyper-involved in any endeavor. Don’t chase after a normal life; it will only turn you crazy. Your mind is very delicate. Soft things, quiet, smooth, gentle, reassuring, nature, not noise.
Be home by 5pm and begin to unwind.
No coffee after 2pm. Firm.
Read at 7-10 (take pills at 9pm). Lights out at 10pm.
Get exercise and errands done in morning/earlyish afternoon.
Stretch every morning, extensively.
Journal as necessary.
Relieve pain.
Don’t lift grandchild, it will cause painful muscle spasms later. Don't run after her. The orthopod said running will make knee deteriotate faster, said don't run. Keep your limits with son and tell him why.
Continue to keep life small. Even smaller.
Plan trips and take them. Find cat sitter to come here.
Write. Write write. Try nonfiction and turn it into fiction.
(OK, why was this necessary? A neighbor with whom I share a wall, a very nice woman, committed suicide a week ago. I saw and smelled almost everything. A month before that, a death due to involuntary manslaugher outside my window.
So now, I am hunting for possibly buying a place for the first time. That is stressing me out. I have to go slowly and take breaks from all of it. One day pursue the loan thing, the next day ignore the housing issue.

Hey yall. I took a hiatus from ds for a couple of weeks or more. I thought I was going to just leave ds because it's been so slow. I have been journaling in a notebook but since I don't carry it with me, it's been inconvenient. So I apologize if I caused anyone to worry about my absence but I'm back and will be updating my journals again as I have time :)

Putting such a good plan together is amazingly positive and will hopefully generate good positive energy. Don't worry if it takes time, you need to settle into this new framework, just keep putting one foot in front of the other, day by day. Or in fibro terms, one foot in front of the other, day by rest day by day!
