My rheumatologist just did a spinal tap to look for some sort of MS related structures...said he would do an MRI if it turns up anything. With all these symptoms, I think it depends on whether a patient goes to a neuro or a rheumy as to how they approach it.
I am wondering about MS after I had a spell last month where my muscles in my legs gave out and I couldn't stand. I had to spend the day in bed, and either have my husband walk me to the bathroom like a puppet, or crawl myself. And, I have lots of tingling in my arms, and a weird numb spot on my face. At least I don't have the anemia or B12 issues.
My dr says that fibro is a syndrome and that you can have *just* fibro, or it along with any number of other things. You are right about the overlap! I hope you will find answers soon! (and myself, as well.)
