Fibromyalgia Support Group
You're not alone in your pain. Fibromyalgia is a condition that can be difficult to diagnose and manage. If you're trying to cope with pain throughout your body, sleep problems, general fatigue, or other common fibromyalgia symptoms, you're in the right place. The community is here for you to talk about therapies and share your challenges.
There is a ton of very knowledgeable, supportive people here. Ask away!
Take Care, Dawn
Also the book "Fibromyalgia for Dummies" is a great resource to refer to. A lot of folks here recommend it, as do I.
If you have any questions, or just feel like venting, go ahead. We're very good listeners!
Take care,
Elizabeth
Read old posts, read the Fibor for Dummies, and above all, ASK ANYTHING. A lot of things mimic fibro; fibro mimics a lot of things; so keep after that doc, make a journal of symptoms and patterns of symptoms if any appear, and we're here for you!!!

Welcome to the forum. I have learned more with this group and received more support here than I ever have in all 8 years since my diagnosis.
The group often provides links to informative and up to date information regarding doctors views, studies, and the frustrations of this particular disease.

I agree with everyone here. I learn so much hear and everyone is wonderful with answering questions when asked. I am so happy that you found us. But sad that you have been saddled with this horrible disease. Good luck and I hope we all are able to help you when you need us.
Fbro lizzy has given you the name of the best book toread , just make sure you have a support net works of friends and family, try to explain it to them so that they understand and believe you. I woould also say try to meet someone in your area so that you can find someone who is dealling with fibro and the doctors where you are. You will see that there are many of us and everyone feels different and is on different meds. No one person is exactly the same but there are many of us with the same aches and pains. I am here for you if you ever need to talk . welcome and take care. isabee
