Fibromyalgia Support Group
You're not alone in your pain. Fibromyalgia is a condition that can be difficult to diagnose and manage. If you're trying to cope with pain throughout your body, sleep problems, general fatigue, or other common fibromyalgia symptoms, you're in the right place. The community is here for you to talk about therapies and share your challenges.
I think I am bipolar type 2 which goes along with Fibromyalgia. I read about alpha wave intrusion and discussed it with my Internist who thought it was the best thing for my interrupted sleep. Cymbalta and the serotonin boost I get from it have helped me tremendously AND I am adding back Wellbutrin to get my buns up out of bed in the morning. I was on 300mg, but now down to 150mg.
Sleep and going back to cognitive behavioural therapy is what I need as well. I need to learn to deal with my emotions and ptsd better. I am going off what worked before.
I need a whole medical team behind me, in essence. But thanks to the Affordable Care Act, I can now have insurance again.
I wish you good luck and let me know how it goes.
Hugs, JP
