Fibromyalgia Support Group
You're not alone in your pain. Fibromyalgia is a condition that can be difficult to diagnose and manage. If you're trying to cope with pain throughout your body, sleep problems, general fatigue, or other common fibromyalgia symptoms, you're in the right place. The community is here for you to talk about therapies and share your challenges.
Whatever's going on in your life and past is, right now, irrelevant to treating your pain. I would suggest your doctor would be better off working on treating your pain and then go back to your past (if they really had to). Even if there was something they thought was 'causing' the pain what are they going to do about it?! Go back in time and change events? (gosh, wouldn't that be brilliant. off topic, sorry) The pain remains and needs to be treated!!
What meds have you tried or are you on? You might need to be quite 'firm' in requesting various medication, changing doctors is definitely a good tactic.
Codeine phosphate/paracetamol which is 30mg/500mg twice four times a day
Gabapentin which is 600mg once three times a day
Fluoxetine 20mg once in a morning
Duloxetine 20mg which is one at night that's support to help me with pain and to sleep what a laugh
Cetirizine 10mg one a night which is support to help me stop itching again ha ha
And the last one is fultium-D 800iu equivalent to 20mg and this one is because I have a low vitamin D deficiency
So most of them are painkillers for my fibromyalgia and spondlise and depression
I have also got brown eye syndrome which I have never heard of before and I have to go in for an operation sometime as the wall to my womb is falling out and dragging my bladder down with it I am defiantly hanging on to Andy (new partner) he has told me he's going to stand by me through it all and he told me we are both going to get through this together
As for you fella, it's hard to trust he won't leave you but you have to, worrying will just increase your pain. I know I feel like such a burden to my dh but he is great and I believe he will never leave me. You have to believe the same. It's not fair to him for you to doubt him. You build him up mentally and do special things for him when you can....this will make you feel better and make him feel loved and appreciated.
That's my two cents worth anyway lol.
Best luck to you with your Dr. I hope you get some relief soon.
protocal. It really helped me.
