Does anybody have pain on that ball on the base of your big toe. You know the ball that goes off to the side alittle. It feels extremely bruise but there is no color to it. They appear swollen across the pads. This may be the reason they have felt cold and numb earlier. But now they feel hot. Go figure !
Have you tried arthtiris rubs on it? That helps mine.
I saw my rhumie last month and told her how my feet and ankles are...she said it's the fibro. I have complained about the way my feet/ankles/knees/hips hurt, all I can get out of her is that it's fibro and she wants to give me shots of cortizone. I did try that on my right hip, two shots and neither of them did a thing,
I have had those shots in my knees, hands, and hip, of which none have done any good. I told her no thanks when she wanted to shoot my heels and feet YIKEs!!!
I wish I had an answer for you,..all I get is that it's fibro. If you find a reason and a treatment other than cortizone shots please do tell .

mine started out just hurtin & foot started gettin wider just by side of toe= need to have surgery but w/the FIBRO afraid of phantom p-ain after there gone anyway= but my feet would look pretty & not need wide shoe!
