Fibromyalgia Support Group
You're not alone in your pain. Fibromyalgia is a condition that can be difficult to diagnose and manage. If you're trying to cope with pain throughout your body, sleep problems, general fatigue, or other common fibromyalgia symptoms, you're in the right place. The community is here for you to talk about therapies and share your challenges.
It sounds like you and your dr have a good relationship. Hopefully, you will have a good one with your PT.
Gentle hugs
Regardless, I believe if you don't click with your doc you should fire them anyway and find one you DO click with. Hope your arm starts feeling better soon!
Glad you finally have some answers though.
I also have tendinities and bursitis in my left shoulder along with carpal tunnel in my hands and wrists really bad. I had 2 nerve conduction tests and told the second neuro doc to not chalk it up to fibro...I wanted a detailed report. Finally found someone who did their dang job. However, I am having serious numbness and constant tingling in my entire left arm now, so will be shopping for a new shoulder ortho doc as the other one didn't give me the time of day. I fell on it a couple years ago and no physical therapy has helped me so it's time to look for some real solutions this time around. I am thinking of not even telling them I have fibromyalgia and just let them do work up on me to see what they find. Sometimes I think it clouds their judgement whether they are willing to admit it or not. It could also be the bursitis causing my symptoms but I need a definitive answer. Tired of the guessing game and tired of medicating to get through the day.
Good luck to you and here's a big..... "I'm with you!"

I guess she feels it's her public (health ) duty to warn you about the use and diversion of opioids. Well, it's all about HER and nothing to do with YOU. Try not to take it in so much. It's meaningless in your case.
Hugs.
I responded to the pain med issue in your other post.
