More and more negatives are coming out about aritifical sweetners, such as it did when the first ones came out years ago. Anymore we are just darned if we do and darned if we dont with anything we consume.
Of course the MSG being in so many things it is possible I have comsumed some. But, I dont' cook with processed items so my intake would be rather low..
Very interesting article though.

I've decided I'm going on a strict health regimen. I'm going to use Splenda and Stevia, whip organic, flax seed oil to my butter (half and half, keeps great in the fridge), use low cal jello and other foods, make my own juice (have a juicer), make organic, brown bread and maybe get a pasta maker. I don't eat frozen or packaged meals at all but wonder if there's hidden things in other foods I eat.
Did you know that 4 slices of pepperoni have 20grams of fat?
I've been migraine-free for ten years WOO HOO thanks to cutting out aspartame from my diet. Those little blue Equal packets are the devil's dust!!! :)
It's ridiculous how many items have aspartame in them now...even sweets loaded with sugar add that stuff! BLAH! If I can't check the ingredients first, I won't eat or drink it!
Now I just WISH WISH WISH that I could cut something out of my diet/lifestyle that would get rid of this fibro!!!!

I have had weight loss surgery and i first noticed the sweetners prior to my surgery when I had to lose weight. The only thing I changed was I stopped drinking DIET pepsi and I lost 6 lbs in one week...If I have any type of articfical sweetners now I get sever headaches and hypoglycemic attacks then the panic attacks come on later with in the day...its nasty stuff Im suprised that it is allowed to be put in our food supply..and it is in everything...I even found it in vitamins...
