So this is the topper!
Somehow it dawned on me ( B-day is coming up) that I went most of the year thinking I was one year older than I really am! How in the WORLD?... Hey Im glad it wasn't the other way around - what a bummer that would be... even though, its kinda trippin me out a bit...it did make my day -- have to say-------- Im actually a year younger! Hey awesome... lol
Im thinkin' do I ask DH? ... How old I am going to be this year? How embarrassing...( felt like a little kid not knowing how old I am- maybe he would hold up fingers like "you're THIS>> MANY" ) I asked anyway because its so weird and I thought I was doing the math wrong or something... ( its not like that -really hard- kinda math people do--)
He confirmed it....

Often I just round it. I'm 40ish until I am 43, then I'll be 45ish.
I once forgot my child's birthday was coming up until my mother-in-law called to ask when to come over for the party...
I still get my kids wrong too. My DH corrects me on that all the time. "Honey, he's not a teenager any more." Which wasn't so bad when he was 20, but one of them is 23 now and I'm still getting it wrong.
