I am currently taking Cymbalta, and Tramacet (Tramadol combined with acetominiphen) for Fibro. I initially tried Cymbalta on it's own, however it did not help me with muscle pain or fatigue. It has helped with brain fog, anxiety and sleep though. Since the Dr. added Tramacet, I find that the "volume" on the pain has been turned down if that makes sense. I am still in pain, I don't think there is anything that will take that away. BUT I can concentrate a little better and find I have a bit more energy. I do feel like it is false energy though, as when it wears off I go back to feeling like I am dying unfortunately.
Other things I have found to help are warm water aquatic exercise and massage, although they only provide very temporary relief.
What is my mainstay is 2.5 mg of methadone for pain daily + a baclofen 5 mg with it.
At night for sleep, trazodone, 25 mg. Been on those forever and I have a life. Sometimes the pain gets really bad and I use clonazepam 2.5 mg or tizanidine (another muscle relaxant).
On a daily basis I use Bengay, capsaicin cream (works well), heating pad, cold packs, walking, distractions like Netflix, music, positive thinking.
Good luck. Keep trying out different things and stay hopeful!
