This can happen for a lot of reasons, and has happened to me. I do eat low-salt, but the bigger issue for me is that I can easily *over*hydrate and "flush" salt out of my sytem. (It's easy to do with sodium.) I solve it by doing salt and lime like I'm about to take a hit of tequila, only no tequila (darn it), and that seems to help me. Or I add a small dash of salt to my herbal tea when I make it. I also watch my fluid intake/output. It's easy to dehydrate, but also easy to overhydrate, especially in hot weather.

That said, did your doc do a urinalysis to see if it showed up there as well as in bloodwork, or was it already done?

Definitely ask your doc for advice. I am going off what my doc told me for my situation!

I too have a problem with an appetite. In fact, I haven't eaten today at all and it's 9:25 at night. It nauseates me thinking about it. I don't salt anything because I'm afraid to get too much in my diet. I think at one point I too was low in sodium and was told to eat pretzels. Hugs GB

My Doctor told me to eat as much salt as I want.

I have extremely low blood pressure, and low sodium levels.

I take meds to raise my BP, and I only get it as high as 92/66.

Also, I just found out today my chlorestrol is 101. Is that a bad thing?

My doc didn't do a urinalysis although he has thought I have adrenal fatigue for some time. I have started drinking Gatorade, eating pretzels and dumping more salt than usual on my food that I do eat. I don't crave salt and I don't drink a lot of water although I do drink 2 pots of coffee a day.

Have you talked to your doc about the lab results? There may be a reason for the low numbers. I wouldn't "self-treat" until you talk with the doc.
