I can' toffer much in the way of practical advice since I have PTSD and not bipolar--- tho anxiety attacks in PTSD can be confused for manic episodes, and I've had them with such high BP and heart rate I was ready to prepare for my own death, I was just that freaked out--- so I admire your ability to share what you're sharing here. Takes guts.
My FM made life hard, but then my 2011 accidnet just knocked everything to he** and I'm still crawling out of it---PTSD added---and I'm always wishing these days I could just sleep a few months, not see the dirt or dust or disappointments. My Hubby is *great* but it's taken 3 sessions of marital counseling over our 22 years of marriage---with our last round in late 2012---for him to really grasp that I wasn't *choosing* this pain and chaos. So dunno if that'd be an option, but really helped me.
Softest sympathies, good wishes for healing in body and mind and soul.
Leo
